New Creation

The dude gets painted while he is singing on stage.

The words of the chorus... "You have taken my old skin and made it new again."

WOW.

"And all I can do is give back to you again."

Verse 1 :
Holy Spirit Hovering Over The Deep
Speak Out The Light And Let It Flood Into Me
Whisper The Word That Gave Creation Her Form
Im Searching For A Life That Hasnt Been There Before

Pre-Chorus:
Speak Light Into The Darkness
Breathe Life Into My Lungs
Fill My Soul As Deep As The Ocean
Im Reaching For Your Love

Chorus:
All That I Can Do Is Give It Back To You
Youve Taken My Old Skin And Made It New Again
All That I Can Do Is Give It Back To You
Youve Taken My Old Skin And Made It New Again

You Have Made Me New, A New Creation
All New, A New Creation

Verse 2:
Holy Spirit Hovering Over The Deep
Bring Out The Colors That My Hearts Yet To See
The Nights On Fire For The Warmth Of Your Love
But Every Hour Theres A Rising Sun

Pre-Chorus:
Speak Light Into The Darkness
Breathe Life Into My Lungs
Fill My Soul As Deep As The Ocean
Im Reaching For Your Love

Chorus:
All That I Can Do Is Give It Back To You
Youve Taken My Old Skin And Made It New Again
All That I Can Do Is Give It Back To You
Youve Taken My Old Skin And Made It New Again

You Have Made Me New, A New Creation
All New, A New Creation
Brand New, A New Creation

Some REAL Words

The later part of Zephaniah chapter 3 is pretty much a bundle of encouragement. Instead of breaking it down, i'd rather just cut and paste these REAL words from God to me.

Zephaniah 3.14-20 [MSG]

14-15So sing, Daughter Zion!
Raise the rafters, Israel!
Daughter Jerusalem,
be happy! celebrate!
God has reversed his judgments against you
and sent your enemies off chasing their tails.
From now on, God is Israel's king,
in charge at the center.
There's nothing to fear from evil
ever again!

16-17Jerusalem will be told:
"Don't be afraid.
Dear Zion,
don't despair.
Your God is present among you,
a strong Warrior there to save you.
Happy to have you back, he'll calm you with his love
and delight you with his songs.

18-20"The accumulated sorrows of your exile
will dissipate.
I, your God, will get rid of them for you.
You've carried those burdens long enough.
At the same time, I'll get rid of all those
who've made your life miserable.
I'll heal the maimed;
I'll bring home the homeless.
In the very countries where they were hated
they will be venerated.
On Judgment Day
I'll bring you back home—a great family gathering!
You'll be famous and honored
all over the world.
You'll see it with your own eyes—
all those painful partings turned into reunions!"
God's Promise.

Just A Thought

Had a mentor stop by and he said these words: When you stand firm on what you know God says, one of two things happen-- you create a crisis or a change. Either way. When you stand firm, something has to happen. God is faithful to His word. No doubt about it. So it will cause the environment, the atmosphere around you to either clash with you or change with you. Something will break or something will change.

Good words I say.

new: me

Love the show on NBC called the "Biggest Loser." In fact, a new season starts this coming Tuesday. Every January people get the itch to start all over, redo themselves, change something about themselves or their circumstances, better themselves. The Biggest Loser is all about people wanting to change their physical look and along with it their mental and emotional state.

We love NEW things. New toys, new movies, new shows, new clothes, new hair styles, the latest looks, trends-- the in thing-- the new thing. Even God is in the NEW business. In 2 Corinthians 5.17 it says "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

Although you may be familiar with that verse of scripture, do you live it? Do you find it hard to make it a reality in your life? Do you feel like a new creation? What do we have to do to become new?

First step, first... Repent from he OLD. Tell God you are sincerely sorry for your PAST. In Jeremiah 31.19 it says: " I turned away from God, but then I was sorry. I kicked myself for my stupidity! I was thoroughly ashamed of all I did in my younger days." Before moving on to the new you, repent and separate from the old you.
